AMD and Anthropic reach $5 billion AI infrastructure deal

AMD said it will invest up to $5 billion in Anthropic and help the company deploy up to 2 gigawatts of Instinct MI450 AI GPUs through its new Helios rack-scale system, with the first gigawatt planned for the first half of 2027.
